Nineteen years ago, when we moved into our current facility, TABC had less than 100 boys; today, TABC has over 280 students and we have a clear line of sight to a demand of over 300. Over the years, we have made improvements and used every nook and cranny of space. For example, we have refurbished the library, added a beit midrash, and revamped the science wing. But, now we are out of space; there is simply no more room. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that we will be going forward with a building expansion.
The expansion will build two new wings on either side of the existing building. On the left side, there will be a brand new gym – with a weight room and lockers. The existing Beit Knesset will be converted into an additional multi-purpose room. On the right side, the first floor will house six new classrooms and additional administrative space. On the second floor will house a brand new Beit Knesset and new Beit Midrash.
This expansion provides increased school capacity in a balanced way – emphasizing both curricular and co-curricular activities – in both limudei kodesh and general studies – for our current and growing student body. In all, this project will double the space of the school.
