Liaison Committee

Your Input Counts at TABC

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the TABC Liaison Committee. The committee is comprised of parents representing each grade level, faculty members, Board members and school administration (see our Mission Statement, below). The committee hosts regularly scheduled meetings, designed to ensure that positive and productive communication is on going and that resolution of issues is conducted in a timely manner. Within this forum, members of the committee have the opportunity to express concerns, offer suggestions, and gain a clearer understanding of school policies and programs. Meetings will be conducted periodically to discuss issues brought to our attention and the committee will make every effort to resolve these issues in a timely manner. As an arm of the Liaison Committee, various sub-committees may be formed where participants, in conjunction with our Administration, will actively examine and address concerns that arise over the course of the academic year.

A Liaison request form [Word document] [PDF] you can use to submit items you wish brought to the committee's attention is available to all concerned. I encourage you to contact your class liaison or any other committee member if you have thoughts, suggestions, or concerns that you wish placed on the agenda for discussion at an upcoming meeting.

As always, our Administrators and faculty members are continually available on a personal basis and they encourage you to bring specific concerns and recommendations to their direct attention. It is our hope that the efforts of the TABC Liaison Committee will enable us to work together on behalf of our children and our school.

Mission Statement
The Torah Academy of Bergen County Liaison Committee provides an opportunity for parents and teachers to develop a protocol for solving problems as issues arise that affect the quality of life at Torah Academy of Bergen County. The resolutions will be disseminated to the community through the parent representatives and to the faculty through the faculty representatives and to the Board through board representatives. It is our hope that this endeavor will allow for a better understanding between parents and teachers and for linking new parents to seasoned ones for guidance and direction.
