Annual Dinner

The TABC Annual Dinner took place on Sunday, March 30th at Congregation Keter Torah

We are proud to have paid tribute to the following well-deserving honorees:

Wendy and Isaac Shulman
Guests Of Honor

Isaac and Wendy are long time residents of Teaneck having moved to the area just about 35 years ago.  Isaac has been on the TABC Board of Directors for 18 years and has been involved in several development projects, including chairing an earlier building project back in 2003, and most recently of course, chairing the building committee for today's new and improved building. Wendy and Isaac are founding members of Congregations Rinat Yisrael and Zichron Mordechai, where Isaac ran the building project for its new building.  Isaac retired from Medco Health after 25 years where he was part of the Senior Executive team. He enjoys spending his time today building synagogue furniture (like the bookcases in the current Beit Midrash) and in other community, educational and charity projects. Wendy is a retired pediatric nurse who spends her time going to shiurim in town and assisting in the care of their grandchildren.  The Shulmans are the proud parents of 5 children, including 3 sons, all of whom are proud TABC alums and accomplished Hockey All-Stars (Go Storm!).

Alisa and Stephen Levy
Guests of Honor

There is virtually no part of the new TABC Building that has not been touched and as a result, improved, by the talents of Alisa Levy.  As Chair of the Interior Design Committee, Alisa has applied her good taste and remarkable attention to detail to every square inch of the new TABC.  If you're lucky, you can sign on for one of Alisa and Stephen's grand tours which they've been conducting round the clock this year, as they tell the story of how the school building has been transformed.  In addition to her design work at the school, Alisa serves on TABC's Board of Directors, helped launch and manage the Teen Learning Program, and chaired the Recruitment Committee.  Alisa also sits on the Executive Board of the Teaneck Mikvah Association, is involved in its day to day management and co-chairs its Annual Women's Event.  Stephen is president of Leasco Automotive Sales & Leasing.  Alisa and Stephen are the proud parents of Michael (Class of '12), Jacob, Daniel (Class of '16) and Zachary.
