Mr. Eli Katz

Mr. Eli Katz graduated cum laude from Yeshiva University where he majored in History and minored in Judaic Studies with a focus on Jewish History. During his time at YU, Mr. Katz also served as an advisor and program coordinator for Upstate NCSY and helped lead NCSY's TJJ Ambassadors Poland trip for two summers in a row. Before joining the TABC faculty, Mr. Katz taught history at Kohelet Yeshiva High School in Philadelphia for three years. His main focuses there were World History, U.S. History, and Jewish History. There, Mr. Katz also taught SEL classes and Holocaust studies electives and served as a religious guidance advisor, varsity boy's basketball coach, and assistant athletic director. After his time at Kohelet, Mr. Katz went on to serve as the Ramaz Upper School Athletic Director, while concurrently serving as the varsity boy's baseball and basketball coach for the 2019-2020 athletic seasons. Mr. Katz has also spent the past five years as an assistant basketball coach for the Yeshiva University Men's basketball team where he is still currently employed. Mr. Katz lives in Teaneck with his wife, Kayla, and is very much looking forward to the 2020-2021 school year!
