Dr. Michael Atlas is the Director of Student Support Services. In this role, Dr. Atlas supports and acts as an advocate for students with learning challenges. He coordinates IEP and 504 meetings to facilitate appropriate supports for students. Dr. Atlas meets with teachers to provide guidance on best teaching methods for each individual student and to discuss accommodations to be employed. Dr. Atlas is also a member of the guidance department where he meets with students to help them navigate the challenges of student life - balancing academics and personal time, improving social interactions, and becoming a more confident adolescent. Dr. Atlas earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Argosy University in Washington D.C with a concentration in child and adolescent psychology.
