Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Walker attended Little Rock Catholic High School for Boys and the University of Arkansas. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Accounting, Dr. Walker decided to pursue MA degrees in Journalism and History. While working toward his PhD, Dr. Walker gained experience teaching various ancient and modern history courses. His main area of expertise is in modern British History, particularly the British Empire and the Victorian Era, with secondary emphases in African, European, and Middle Eastern History. Upon completion of his dissertation, Dr. Walker taught History at Hebrew Academy in Miami Beach, where he oversaw the Model UN delegation—all duties he is proud to continue carrying out at TABC. Outside of school, Dr. Walker enjoys reading current events periodicals and reviews, as well as cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks sports teams. He is very excited to be joining TABC.
