Rabbi David Nachbar, a proud alumnus of TABC ('96), is a member of the Judaic Studies faculty. He teaches Gemara and Chumash to juniors and seniors. In addition, Rabbi Nachbar guides a small learning group at night seder and serves as faculty advisor for TABC's Model Congress team. Rabbi Nachbar received his Smicha from RIETS, and was a member of the Bella and Harry Wexner Smicha Honors Program. He continued his studies and professional training as a member of its post-Smicha fellowship program, the Bella and Harry Wexner Kollel Elyon of Yeshiva University. Rabbi Nachbar holds an MA in Medieval Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. In addition to his responsibilities at TABC, Rabbi Nachbar serves as a Maggid Shiur at the Graduate Program for Women in Advanced Talmudic Studies (GPATS) of Yeshiva University.
