Mrs. Silverman teaches Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and AP Statistics. She begins every Friday’s class with her grandfather’s gematria on the parsha, to give her students a concrete connection between Torah and Maddah. She meets with student council and senior council members regularly to bring ideas for new activities into fruition and she has served as a judge at the Math and Science Expo. Mrs. Silverman has attended the Rutgers University conference for high school math teachers for the past two years. She has a BA in Education from Stern College and an MA in Special Education from Hunter College. She is currently working on her second MA in Math education from William Paterson University. She is the Grade Dean for the 9th grade.
