Rabbi Yehuda Avner

Rabbi Yehuda Avner '13 grew up in Teaneck and attended Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh for two years following his graduation from TABC. He was a talmid of Rabbi Yaakov Neuburger at Yeshiva University and received semicha from RIETS, where he was a member of the Katz Kollel and studied under Rav Hershel Schachter. Rabbi Avner is a licensed therapist who earned his MSW from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, with a specialization in addiction counseling. He and his wife, Tamar, live in Bergenfield with their three daughters.
