Ms. Lea Borenstein
Dr. Lea Borenstein is an English and social studies specialist with more than 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher and learning specialist. She has worked extensively with students with a wide range of learning profiles, with particular expertise in supporting students who struggle with writing and those with anxiety. At TABC, she works with the Learning Center team to develop individualized programs that support students across the curriculum and help them build greater academic independence throughout high school. Her approach centers on meeting each student where he is and engaging additional specialists for targeted interventions when appropriate. Dr. Borenstein has a particular interest in student motivation and demand avoidance, two increasingly significant challenges in education today.
