Rabbi Shua Katz

Rabbi Shua Katz ’11 is a Gemara rebbe and serves as Rosh Kollel for TABC’s Kollel, in partnership with RIETS, Rosh Elyon for TABC’s Elyon program, and coordinator of TABC’s night seder program. A proud alumnus of TABC, Rabbi Katz learned for two years at Yeshivat Har Etzion before studying for six years at Yeshiva University with his rebbe, Rav Michael Rosensweig, for whom he served as Shiur Assistant. Rabbi Katz received semicha from RIETS, earned a master’s degree in Jewish Philosophy from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, and continued his learning as a fellow of the Wexner Kollel Elyon. In his shiurim, Rabbi Katz seeks to impart the depth and clarity of Torah in a warm and energetic environment that fosters meaningful, lifelong relationships both inside and outside the classroom. Rabbi Katz serves as Assistant Rabbi at Congregation Darchei Noam in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, where he lives with his wife, Bracha, and their five children: Effy, Eliezer, Yaakov, Meir, and Temima.
