Health Services

The school nurse provides health care services that include immediate care, first aid, and sports-related injuries. Furthermore, the nurse performs bi-yearly state-mandated screenings for freshmen and juniors, which include height, weight, blood pressure, vision, hearing, and scoliosis assessments. In addition to providing health care directly to the students the nurse:

 

• Coordinates programs related to health issues.
• Organizes the annual blood drive.
• Maintains immunization and health records.
• Ensures that the administrators and teachers at TABC are trained and prepared to respond to a host of healthcare-related emergencies.
